VODANOVIC JACOBSEN arquitectos es una oficina de arquitectura chilena dirigida por los arquitectos Drago Vodanovic y Tomás Jacobsen. 
Su visión de la arquitectura entiende a ésta como un fenómeno de exploración constante, basado en una serie de principios básicos que dirigen cada proyecto: posición crítica frente al fenómeno de la arquitectura y cada encargo; entorno y contexto como imputs insoslayables; cada proyecto como resultado de un proceso de diseño específico; e innovación y sustentabilidad como consecuencia de un buen diseño. 
La oficina explora con especial motivación las formas y la construcción de éstas, donde la exploración de la abstracción formal, el cuidado de los detalles y las leyes de la simplicidad buscan que el resultado ofrezca gran calidad espacial y material, tanto constructiva como expresivamente.

VODANOVIC JACOBSEN arquitectos desarrolla proyectos de arquitectura en el más amplio espectro de escalas arquitectónicas, desde el diseño de objetos e interiores, hasta el de viviendas, edificios institucionales e industriales. 


Tomás Jacobsen Collado
Arquitecto del Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, México, Master en Arquitectura y Urbanismo del Design Research Lab de la Architectural Association de Londres, UK. Ha desarrollado su carrera principalmente en México y Chile, como arquitecto jefe para oficinas como MAS Arquitectos, Legorreta-Sepúlveda Arquitectos y A5 Arquitectos en México, junto con Gubbins Arquitectos y Polidura+Talhouk Arquitectos en nuestro país. Jacobsen ha desarrollado docencia en el Tec. de Monterrey, la Universidad Mayor y en la Universidad San Sebastián en Puerto Montt.

Drago Vodanovic Undurraga
Arquitecto de la Universidad de Chile, Master en Arquitectura y Urbanismo Design Research Lab de la Architectural Association de Londres, UK. En Inglaterra trabajó para la oficina de arquitectura global POPULOUS. Se ha desempeñado como docente en el AA Electronic Media Lab de la Architectural Association y en el MArch de la Escuela de Diseño de la University of Pennsylvania. En Chile ha sido académico en la Universidad de Chile y la Universidad San Sebastián. Se desempeña como arquitecto y consultor independiente. Actualmente es Director de la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad San Sebastián en Puerto Montt.

VODANOVIC JACOBSEN architects is an architecture practice directed by Chilean architects Drago Vodanovic and Tomás Jacobsen.
Their architectural vision, understands architecture as a phenomenon of constant exploration, based on a set of basic principles that guide each project: critical insight of the phenomenon of architecture and each assignment; environment and context as unavoidable imputs; each project as the result of a specific design process; and innovation and sustainability as the result of an appropriate design.

The practice explores with special motivation the form and the construction of it, where the exploration of the formal abstraction, the relentless attention to details and the laws of simplicity aims results of great quality spatially and materially, both constructive and expressively.

VODANOVIC JACOBSEN architects develops projects in the broadest range of architectural scales, from object design and interiors, to residential, institutional and industrial buildings.


Tomás Jacobsen Collado
Graduated as architect at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico, obtains his Master in Architecture Design Research Lab from the Architectural Association School of Architecture of London, UK. His professional career has been developed mainly in Mexico and Chile, where he has been appointed as chief architect in important practices like MAS Arquitectos, Legorreta-Sepulveda Arquitectos and A5 Arquitectos in México; and Gubbins Arquitectos in Chile. Also, he has developed and productive career as independent and in association with major offices like Polidura-Talhouk Arquitectos. His work has been widely published in different platforms, highlighting the “Mangal City” project, which has been published in specialized media in America, Europe and Asia. He has taught at the Instituto Tecnológico of Monterrey, Universidad Mayor and currently at the Universidad San Sebastián, where he is the Academic Coordinator of the School of Architecture of Puerto Montt, where in 2014 launched the book “Southern Chile Modern Architecture Guide”. 



Drago Vodanovic Undurraga
Graduated as Architect from the Universidad de Chile, where he was awarded with the Dean Mario Recordón Medal for the best GPA of his class. Awarded with the Presidente de la República grant he obtains his Master in Architecture Design Research Lab at the Architectural Association School of Architecture of London, UK. In Chile his professional career has been developed independently; in England worked for the global architecture practice POPULOUS, developing multiple large scale sports projects in Europe and Middle East. He has taught at the AA Electronic Media Lab of the Architectural Association and at the University of Pennsylvania Master of Architecture. In Chile has been an academic at the Universidad de Chile and Universidad San Sebastián, being studio professor, thesis project advisor and leading parametric design and digital fabrication courses. Currently he is the Director of the School of Architecture at the Universidad San Sebastián from Puerto Montt, where in 2014 launched the book “Southern Chile Modern Architecture Guide”.
